A24. Cut injury

偏方秘方验方治疗割伤砍伤

1. 止血散 (Zhixue San for bleeding)

木贼 25 克，黄柏 10 克，益母草10 克，五倍子 5 克。

Muzei 25 gram, Huangbo 10 gram, Yimucao 10gram, Wubeizi 5 gram.

将上药研细末。将药粉撒于伤口上。加压包扎。同时内服 2 克药粉。每日3 或 4 次。

Grind the herbs into fine powder. Smear it on to the bleeding wound. Fold the wound with gauze and with pressure. At the same time, drink the herbal powder 2 gram. Repeat three or four times a day.

本方主治出血。

This formula works for bleeding wound.

2. 黄白散 (Huangbai San to stop bleeding)

大黄 20 克，白芨 20 克。

Dahuang 20 gram, Baiji 20 gram.

入锅内炒至焦黄色。凉后研细末。将药粉敷于伤口。包扎固定。主治外伤出血。一般用药后1分钟内就可止血。

Add the herbs into pot. Bring to heat to fry until the herbs turn to yellow in color. Grind them into fine powder. Apply the powder on to the bleeding spot. It works to stop bleeding. Usually the bleeding stops within one min.

3. 外用止血丹 (Waiyong Zhixue Dan to stop bleeding)

明矾，五倍子，血竭，白蔹，各等份。研细末，敷于伤口。

Equal amount of Mingfan (Alum), Wubeizi, Xuejie and Bailian. Grind them into fine powder. Apply the mixture on to the bleeding spot to stop bleeding.

4. 干桃叶末外敷止血 (Dried peach leave powder to stop bleeding)

将干桃叶研细末。外敷于伤口上，可止血。如果没有桃叶，可用桑叶，南瓜叶, 或者梧桐叶, 或用野外车前草代替。

Grind dried peach leaves into very fine powder. Smear on to the bleeding wound to stop bleeding. If there is no peach leaves, use the dried leaves of mulberry tree, pumpkin leaves or parasol tree leaves. You can also use fresh Cheqiancao (plantain herb grass), chop into mud to apply on to the wound.

如果用鲜桃树叶，将桃叶放入水中数分钟，捞出捣烂，加白糖研成糊状，外敷于伤口。可止痛。这也是美国民间偏方。

If only the fresh peach leave available, put the leaves into water for several min, take out, grind into mud. Add white sugar to mix well. Apply the mixture on to the wound to stop pain. This is also a fold tip used by people in US.

5. 蜈蚣油外敷止血 (Centipede oil to stop bleeding)

将蜈蚣加进香油中。制成蜈蚣油。将此油涂抹于出血处，可止血。本方也可用于烧伤。

Add centipede in sesame oil. Apply this oil on to the bleeding wound. It works to stop bleeding. This oil can also be used in burn.

6. 艾叶止血 (Aiye powder for bleeding wound)

将艾叶研细末，撒于伤口上，可止血。

Grind Aiye into fine powder. Apply on the bleeding surface to stop bleeding.

7. 黄柏液口服止血 (Huangbo for bleeding)

将黄柏水煎服。每小时服大约 20 到 30 毫升，可止血。

Cook Huangbo in water to collect water extract. Drink the herbal extract every one hour for about 20 ml. It works to stop bleeding.

8. 热水凉水交替浸泡法治疗切伤（Hot water - cold water rinse for small wound)

对于手脚小切伤，将伤口浸入热水和凉水中交替多次，每次各 4 － 5 分钟。可促使伤口愈合。

For small wound in hands or feet, add the wound in both hot water then cold water, back and forth, each for 4 to 5 min. It can speed up the healing.

9. 乌贼骨粉外涂止血 (Wuzeigu powder to stop bleeding)

将乌贼骨研细末，涂于伤口上可止血, 还可防止伤口化脓。

Grind the Wuzaigu （Sepium) into fine powder. Smear it on to the wound. It stops bleeding and prevent pus formation.

10. 干牛肉粉止血（Dried beef powder to stop bleeding)

切伤，将干牛肉研细末，涂于伤口可止血。将牛肉烧黑粉，或将动物骨头烧成黑粉，研细末涂伤口也有效。

For cut wound, grind dried beef into fine powder. Smear the powder on to the wound. It stops bleeding. Alternatively, burn the beef, or animal bone, into black in color. Grind also into fine powder. Smear the powder. All work to stop bleeding.

11. 鸡蛋内膜碘酒法 (Inner membrane of chicken egg and Iodine for cut wound)

切伤者，用鸡蛋内膜贴伤口，周围涂以碘酒，覆盖脱脂药棉，绷带包扎固定。

For cut wound, apply the inner membrane of chicken egg on to the wound, also smear iodine around the wound. Cover the wound with absorbent cotton. Fold with gauze.

也可将鸡蛋内膜焙干，研细末，加香油调成糊状，涂于伤口。

You can also dry the egg inner membrane, grind it into powder. Mix it with sesame oil into mud form. Apply the mixture on to the wound.

也可将鸡蛋黄加香油各半混合。涂布于伤口上。

Or，you can add the chicken egg yolk and sesame oil (half to half in volume), mix well and smear on to the wound.

12. 白糖烟熏法止痛 (White sugar smoking to stop pain)

切伤者，将白糖撒于火中，让其烟熏伤口，可止痛。这也是美国民间偏方。

For cut wound, add white sugar in fire, smoke the wound with the smoke to stop pain. This is also a fold therapy used by folk in US.

13. 亚麻灰或棉布灰外涂 (Flax ash or cotton ash)

切上者，将亚麻或棉布烧成灰，加米醋调成糊状，外涂于伤口。

For cut wound, burn flax or cotton into ash. Mix the ash with vinegar to be in mud form. Apply the ash-vinegar mixture on to the wound.

14. 明矾水外涂 (Alum solution for wound)

切伤，将明矾加水化开，用其水涂于伤口，包扎固定。

For cut wound, dissolve alum in water. Smear the water solution on to the wound. Fold with gauze. It speeds up healing.

15. 栗子口嚼外敷 (Chestnut application for wound)

切伤或砍伤，将栗子口嚼后敷伤口。

For cut or chop wound, bit the chestnut in mouth into mud form, apply the fine bitten chestnut on to the wound.

16. 芦荟叶外敷 (Aloe leaves for wound)

切伤或玻璃割伤，将芦荟叶去皮，包扎于伤口上。
可止血。

For cut or chop wound, peel the Aloe leaves, apply it on to the wound. Fold with gauze and medical tape. It works to stop bleeding.

也可将芦荟汁涂于伤口上。可速止痛。

You can also apply the Aloe juice on to the wound to stop the pain within a short time.

17. 猪皮包扎 (Pig skin fold for wound)

被锥子或钉子扎伤时，用生猪皮包扎伤口。

Pouch wound by nails or awl, fold the wound with fresh (not cooked) pig skin. It works.

18. 葱白白糖方 (Leek and white sugar for ion injury)

铁器伤口，将葱白和白糖各半混合捣烂。厚敷伤口。可止血，不留伤疤。

Injury by ion material, mix leek and white sugar (half to half), chop to mud. Apply in thick to the wound. It works to stop bleeding and heal without scar later.

19. 涩柿子汁外敷止血 (not mature persimmon juice for wound)

外伤出血，用涩柿子捣烂，厚敷伤口，可止血，不留疤痕。

For bleeding due to trauma, chop persimmon (the one not mature yet) into mud form. Apply in thick on to the wound. It works to stop bleeding and heal without scar formation.

20. 生猪肉外敷 (Pork without fat tissue, for wound healing)

诸般铁器伤，取生猪肉，厚切，敷伤口，可止痛。

When injury by iron material, chop pork (without fat tissue) in thick slide, apply it on to the wound. Fold with gauze. It works to stop pain.
